Verified caller ID means your outbound calls show your own real phone number, not a random VoIP pool number. The person you call can see the number they've had saved for you and recognise the call, where their carrier shows caller ID.
EzyRing checks that you own the number with a short call to that phone, where you key in the code shown on screen. That's the opposite of spoofing, which uses numbers the caller doesn't own.

How is this different from other browser-based phones?
Many browser and app-based calling services show a service-owned number to the person you call. EzyRing is built around verified caller ID: your own number is the default, included at no extra cost. You verify it once, then use it on your calls.
Can I show a different number on different calls?
Yes. You can verify more than one number you own and choose which one to show before each call.
Is this legal? Doesn't it count as "spoofing"?
Showing a number you own and have verified is the opposite of spoofing. Spoofing is showing a number you don't control, typically to impersonate a bank or a government office. EzyRing's verification call proves the number is yours. Outbound calling rules differ by country, so check the ones that apply to your calls.
Will it work for two-factor authentication callbacks?
EzyRing is for outbound calls (you call out, showing your verified number). For inbound 2FA, your real number's underlying SIM or landline still receives the calls and texts as normal — EzyRing doesn't intercept them.
What if my number is in a country EzyRing doesn't operate from?
Where you call from doesn't matter: EzyRing works in your browser wherever you have internet. What matters is that you can answer a call on the number you want to show, because verification is a short call to that phone.
